This is great work Spencer! I’m bewildered following this situation. New York bounced so well from COVID from 2022 to now, and now people are potentially voting for this? It’s crazy! From the outside here, some of the economic policies around rent are guaranteed to fail, and the potential to inflame ethnic tensions is extreme. Meanwhile San Francisco’s struggles are well publicized but they’re taking serious action to clean up the city. Maybe it’s a fluke, a low turnout vote on a hot day. But maybe not..
